HOUSE RULES

• Free play only. No deposits, no withdrawals, no purchases of chips, ever. If a future version sells anything, it will be physical goods or music — never chips, never odds.
• Provably fair. Card and original games deal from a server-committed seed whose hash is published before you play. After a seed retires you can replay every hand yourself at verify.html — the page is self-contained, works offline, and calls nothing. If a single card differs from what you were dealt, the house cheated.
• Published odds. Return-to-player figures shown on each machine are measured by Monte-Carlo simulation against the shipped tables, not estimated.
• One name, no paper. Your handle is a stage name. Don't put real names, addresses, phone numbers, links or anyone else's information into a handle, a chat line, or a pressing.
• Be solid. No harassment, hate, threats, sexual content involving minors, spam, or impersonation of the artist, the label, or the house. The Pit removes lines and cards that break these rules and can bar a device.

RESPONSIBLE PLAY

Even with no money on the table, time is real. The house ships tools and uses them itself:

• Reality check. After 60 minutes of play the house interrupts with your elapsed time and your net chip position, and asks whether to keep going.
• Take a break. You can close the floor for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days from the player's card. While a break is running, games will not open. It cannot be undone early.
• No urgency. No countdown timers on bets, no loss-chasing prompts, no "one more spin" nudges, no daily-streak punishment.

PRIVACY

What the house keeps

• On your device only: your chip balance, play history, settings, and your local fair-play history. Clearing site data erases them; nothing recovers them.
• If you take a card: your handle and a one-way hashed device identifier. Raw device identifiers are never stored — they are HMAC-hashed before they touch the database.
• If you sign up for release news: your first name and email, with the date and text of the consent you gave.
• Play records: stake, win, machine, and fairness seed references, tied to a hashed device — used for the live feed, the published odds, and dispute resolution.
• Faults: up to five error messages per session, to find bugs.

What the house never does

• No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, no data brokers, no selling or sharing of personal information.
• Your email is never joined to your handle, your chat lines, or your play records.
• No private messages between players exist, so none are stored.

Your rights

Ask for a copy of what's held about you, ask for it deleted, or withdraw consent at any time by writing to the contact below — or burn your card in the app, which erases your handle and your public presence immediately. Email unsubscribes are one click and honoured permanently.

USER CONTENT — TAKES, PRESSINGS & CHAT

You keep whatever rights you have in the moves you make. By publishing a pressing or a chat line you grant the house a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and replay it inside this app. Pressings store your moves — never audio; the recordings themselves never leave the app.

Reporting

Report any take, chat line, handle or receipt with the ⚑ control next to it, or write to the address below with the item, its ID, and why. Reports are reviewed and actioned, and both the reporter and the affected user are told what was decided and why. Repeat or severe violations bar the device. Child sexual abuse or exploitation is prohibited absolutely, is reported to the appropriate authorities, and carries an immediate permanent ban.

All recordings, compositions, artwork and marks are the property of their owners and appear here with permission. Nothing in this app grants you a licence to the music. Do not attempt to download, extract, redistribute or release the recordings or stems.
